On the upper rack, the baptism records.
On the middle rack, the family records. On the lowest rack the death records. Some books have been prepared with tongues of black tape to allow the removal without the danger of damaging them. Since 2005 the books are now located in the "Landeskirchliches Archiv" in Stuttgart Echterdingen. |

Here a picture, when I cross-checked my database - retrieved from the microfilms -with the original family register. I used a paper print listing the open questions and a notebook that contained all my data. The first session the 28.12.2001 took 4 hours, many more will follow. Entering the results into the database takes the same amount of time again, but can be done at home.
